Here’s a picture of a bull I interacted with on the trail while snowmobiling. It was a couple of years ago on Corridor 513 in Wheelock/Greensboro Bend. I was coming from the LVRT to take 513 (The Piperville Trail) back to my house in Wheelock. When I got on the trail, I was excited to see that it had just been groomed. I came around a corner to find this bull right in the middle of the trail. Apparently, the electric fence was broken and he walked on the the trail. I tried to go left and he moved to the left. I tried to go right and he moved to the right. It became clear that he was not going to let me by. While trying to figure out what to do, I heard a voice from behind me say, “Hold on. Don’t move.” It was the owner of the bull. He came over to me and said he would grab hold of him so I could go by. He specifically said “DO NOT look at him when you drive by.” I guess he was a bit awry. I didn’t look at him when I went by, but I looked out of the corner of my eye and noticed he was staring me down as I drove by! – Michael Dente WEIRD, WILD & WONDERFUL THINGS YOU SEE ON THE TRAIL “Celebrity” Sighting A familiar face was spotted at Parker Pie during the Glover Trailwinders’ Poker Run on Feb. 10. You might recognize Kristin Michaud in the photo below from the Saint J Subaru commercials! Kristen is an avid snowmobilier and was out enjoying the trails with a group of friends. Media Manager Beth Godin grabbed a “selfie” with her. Have you seen something interesting while out riding? Send us a photo! If we publish it, we will send you a t-shirt! Email editor@vtvast.org
