He is currently in his fifth year in the position of Vice President with the Cavendish Green Mountain Snow Fleas. As a weekend resident, he immediately began volunteering his time with the club, helping with bridge building and trail maintenance.  After some time, his role grew as he learned how to operate the groomer. When he moved to Vermont full time, it wasn’t long before Dan and his wife, Deb, could be found spending a “romantic” Saturday night grooming the trails. For years, Dan and Deb were part of the “Cook Shack” team, helping with cooking and selling food. Dan was the person who got the current president, Joe Marini, involved with the club. While Dan’s official title is vice president, he is also the assistant trailmaster and helps with the repair and upkeep of the groomer and drags.  Dan always has the club’s best interests in mind. He is a solid volunteer and a good friend to many who work with him. Peter “Pete” and Dorothy “Dot” Ramsdell have been involved in snowmobiling for 25 years. Pete is the Cavendish Green Mountain Snow Flea’s Club historian and the go-to person to find out how the club did things “back in the day.”  Almost immediately after purchasing their home in Cavendish, he bought a snowmobile for himself, his wife Dot and their three sons. They had the “snowmobile bug” and were hooked from that point on. He got involved with the club starting with trail cleanup. He purchased his own gas-powered push brush hog to use on the trails. From trail maintenance, Pete naturally fell into the role as one of the clubs’ signage team members.
