C O M Wardsboro Pathfinders This summer, the Wardsboro Pathfinders Snowmobile Club (WPSC) has been busy replacing its older grooming equipment. The club recently purchased a 2013 Skandic grooming machine from the Shaftsbury SnowPilots and is selling its 2006 Skandic. If you are interested in buying the ‘06, or know someone who is, please contact the club at wpsc@wardsboropathfinders. com. Donations are also being accepted to defray costs. Any amount will help! It was a beautiful day for the 68th Annual Wardsboro Fourth of July parade and street fair in Wardsboro. The club had a big presence in this year’s event: Volunteers Eric Peterson, WPSC merchandise manager, and Melanie Tregoning, WPSC vice president, sold club merchandise and gave away free local trail maps. Jerry Cloutier, WPSC groomer, built and entered a float showcasing the club’s newest grooming machine. He won second place! His wife, Chris, was on the float handing out candy to the kids. Gary Urbinati, WPSC trailmaster south, rode in his 1928 Model A Ford truck adorned with Pathfinder signs in the parade again this year. The club is starting its pre-season preparations in early September. Members will be notified via a club email newsletter. Visit the club’s website and our Facebook or Twitter for work party dates.
