We hope to get a work party together before summer is over in preparation for the coming season. Keep an eye on our website for details and upcoming events. Plan to join us at our Landowner Appreciation Picnic and meeting on Aug. 6 at the Woodford SnoBusters’ maintenance facility. We always enjoy meeting our neighbors and fellow sledders. At our annual meeting in April, the Woodford SnoBusters presented two checks from the proceeds of our Annual Hot Dog Roast in the amount of $500 each to local Bennington organizations. Marie Ray accepted on behalf of Cancer Center Community Crusaders (4Cs), a program that raises funds in support of patients and families dealing with a cancer diagnosis. If you would like to volunteer or make a donation, 4Cs may be reached at 802-442-2736. Art Charron, representing the Elks Lodge #567 Veterans Services accepted our donation toward the Veterans Activity Fund. If you would like to support Gene McKenna (left) and MarkTilley (far right) applaud theWSB’s donations to the 4Cs, accepted by Marie Ray, and to the Elks Lodge Veteran’s services, accepted by Art Charron.
