Gary always helped lay down some common sense when the club faced difficult decisions, helping me keep meetings from taking four hours. Gary was a key liaison between the club and Rock of Ages, as we pursue obtaining a lease from them to construct a pole barn to house our groomer. We appreciate all he has done for us and snowmobiling in our community. He will be missed by all who knew him. Late autumn was spent brush hogging trails and removing trees and branches from several late season storms. Additional signs have been added to increase riders’ enjoyment of Worcester’s terrain. As of the first of the year, trails were groomed three times creating the best base in years! The club is planning its annual Trailside Cookout for February. The Rangers’ Trailside Cookout provides sledders a warm destination complete with roaring bonfire, hamburgers, hot dogs and hot drinks. It’s a great opportunity to experience the trails of Vermont’s capitol region. The club expresses its appreciation to its landowners and landowners throughout Vermont for making our sport possible.  Bob Stewart, Communications  vtvast.org/worcester-rangers.html Like us on Facebook WINDHAM COUNTY Derry Sled Dogs The Derry Sled Dogs had a busy and productive fall. The winner of our gun raffle was Ronnie Arace from New Jersey. Thank you to Series 11 Gun Shop for their help with the raffle. There were improvements made to our trails this fall. The volunteers cleared Beaver Meadows trail as well as Greendale to RD 89 and RD 93. Bridges and water bars were inspected and cleared as needed. The club now has our new 2008 groomer from Track Inc. (formerly Get- Sno). It is a nice upgrade from our old 1993 model. Our grooming crew has been out as often as possible working on making our trails nice for riders to enjoy. We are planning a ride in on Feb. 17 at
