Dealer Imprint Goes Here trails. It’s really beautiful out there this year. Our Yankee Swap Christmas Party was a real treat this year! We had a great turnout, lots of laughs and an overload of treats! Our 37th Annual Chicken BBQ will be held at the Westshire Elementary School on Feb. 3 starting at 11:30 a.m. until we are sold out. This is such a fun-filled event, not only for our club, but also for the folks that join us for the first time and the ones that have been with us each and every year. Erin Drury from Artista Design so graciously donates her talent to create our fliers for this event. Thank you, Erin! Be sure to be on the lookout for them. They will include all the information and pricing on this year’s event. Information can also be found on our website. Of course, this event wouldn’t be what it is if it wasn’t for our hard-working volunteers and our local businesses who donate towards our raffle table! From all of us at the Upper Valley Snow Packers, we wish you the most safe and ecstatic season. Get out there and enjoy a hot dog on the trail with friends and family and create memories to last a lifetime! Jillian Hatch, News Correspondent uppervalleysnowpackers.com Like us on Facebook Washington Snow Flyers  The season is off to a great start. We received enough snow in December to get the trails shaped up and in good riding condition. Our club volunteers have worked hard this fall to get trails open with landowner permission and chainsaws to clear the blown down trees and brush. If it wasn’t for the hard work of these volunteers, our trails would not be in the great shape they are in currently. The cold temperatures have been brutal, but if you have braved them, then you were treated to some great trail riding for this early in the season.  We now have access to the VAST online trail map so that we can keep you up to date on any trail closures or advisories that may affect your planned ride.  The club’s Third Annual Vintage Sled Rally was scheduled for Jan. 6, but due to the extreme cold and wind chill, it was moved to January 13. We graciously would like to thank all the businesses that bought space on our advertising board installed at intersection OE 92. This extra income helps us with groomer maintenance, repairs and trail intersection signs. If you would like to purchase a spot, please call Chuck Otis at 802-476-7324. The long-term forecast is calling for a thaw later in January. Hopefully, this will be short lived and we will receive more snow to keep the trails in great condition. Ride to the conditions and be aware of others sharing the trail. We hope you enjoy the Snow Flyers’ trails.
