The groomer saw very limited use last year, so it is still in good shape for this winter. Kevin mentioned a couple minor problems, but nothing major. Hopefully, there will be snow this year so we can get out and ride. Last year was a total bust. Happy Holidays to all! There are a few changes going on in the Northeast Kingdom. Due to diminishing membership, the Richford Missisquoi BearCats and Enosburg Cold Hollow Barons will be merging together. We will now be called the Cold Hollow Bearcats. This way, we can put our resources together and get a better trail system. Last week, we redecked a bridge. Heartfelt thanks are in order to Arty and Brendan Young, Jim Marshia, Serge and Jeff Marchoux for helping with this project. Please TMA your sleds this year! Last year, I bought TMAs for eight sleds. I did not get to use them much, but VAST needs the money and without them, we are not going to ride at all. Serge Marchoux, Secretary and Treasurer Out with the old! The Cold Hollow Bearcats redecked one of their bridges in November. Sterling Snow Riders We held a successful Calcutta style fundraiser on Oct. 8. This marks the first and hopefully one of many more fundraisers to come. See photos and read about the winners on page 14 of this magazine issue. The silent auction included everything from gift certificates to fine local restaurants and lift tickets at Jay Peak. We cannot thank these businesses enough for their generous donations. We hope our small community will get out there to support them: Cambridge Village Market, The Family Table, The Cupboard Deli, Johns Hardware and Rental, Vianor, Bourne’s Service Center, Hoagies, 10 Railroad St., Wok-N-Roll, House of Pizza, Deb’s Place, Sunset Motel, The Charlemont, Dunkin’s Donuts,
