Evan is a very eager, enthusiastic up-and-coming snowmobiler. Evan started riding with his father at age 2. His helmet was too heavy for his head, and staying awake was the biggest problem he faced. In 2014, Santa delivered a brand new Arctic Cat ZR120 that saw many miles before recently being sold to purchase his first full-sized sled, a vintage Yamaha Phazer 480. Evan has been accompanying his father to club meetings for three years. If a monthly meeting is missed for whatever reason, he is upset and wants to know,“When is the next meeting?”He has been helping sign a section of Corridor 7A between Middlebury and New Haven for three seasons, and is getting good at figuring out which sign is needed in each situation, driving the UTV and running the screw gun. Evan’s other interests include riding his ATV and dirt bike, mountain biking, and playing football and soccer. He is very eager to take his rider safety course and being able to ride the VAST trails he already cares for. Got a cute kid or pet photo? We’d love to publish an adorable photo of your kids, grandkids, nieces, nephews and pets enjoying the winter and club activities in Vermont! Send photos with caption information to editor@vtvast.org. Three-year-old Hunter Diminico gives a thumbs up while enjoying his second snowmobile ride in Feb. 2016 on freshly groomed trails in Averil. He is the grandson of the Northeast Kingdom Snow Blasters trailmaster and groomer David Diminico Sr. Brandon Phillips II is just starting to get involved with the Drift Dusters Snowmobile Club. He is 7 years old and has his own snowmobile that he rides around on his parent’s property. His father Brandon says,“ I am hoping to have him attend some club meetings with me and help more with trail work in the future. He enjoys being outside helping out.”
