We are fortunate that we haven’t had to do any bridge work since 2014. At this point in the year, we do not have any scheduled plans for 2017 bridge work either. We are very grateful to the club officers and many wonderful volunteers who help to make it all happen when we need them to. WEATHERSFIELD PATHFINDERS Seth Kimball, Vice President The Weathersifeld Pathfinders are responsible for 12 bridges on our 30 miles of trail. Last year we completely rebuilt three bridges on Corridor 5 which are located at the end of Ascutney Notch Road. All three bridges are within a 500’ section of Corridor 5, approximately two miles north after crossing VT Route 131. We applied for and received VAST grant money to construct the three bridges. These bridges are used for snowmobile purposes only. Our volunteers include Seth Kimball, Warren Richardson, Alex Richardson, Mike Coleman, Steve LeClair, Ricky Nadeau, Mike Barrup, Sam McMillan and Tom Leech. Our future bridge plans include redecking of the High Bridge which is used to access the Downers Four Corners Store. The club plans to apply for grant money to replace the decking on that bridge. Windsor Bridges A Hartland Hill Hoppers bridge is perched atop a concrete block as it awaits to be set into place. This is one of three bridges that the Weathersfield Pathfinders rebuilt last year on Corridor 5.
