Late Winter 2026 | 29 Club News WINDSOR COUNTY Andover Mountaineer Snow Riders The club appreciates all those who came out to join us for our annual ride- in BBQ in February. The event was a huge success thanks to the turnout and generosity of many folks who helped us pull it off. We are incredibly grateful to the landowners and the volunteers who helped us undertake a massive trail re-route this year. Many folks donated their time and equipment to helping us make the trails more rideable than they have been the past few seasons. Thank you to our landowners and volunteers. We are looking forward to beginning to prep the trails for next season! Chris Keen, Secretary andoversnowriders.com Like us on Facebook Barnard Mountainviewers What a wonderful winter it turned out to be! After waiting somewhat patiently for snow in January, we sure were able to enjoy it the rest of the season. The trails in Barnard were well maintained this winter and it made for awesome riding. Thank you, groomers, for making this happen! Rob Tracy, Dana Noyes, Jeff Tracy and Wyatt Stulz, along with Clyde Tracy as the assistant, put in countless hours and it showed. Many riders appreciated riding Barnard’s trails. We lucked out with great weather for our two annual events this year. The Poker Ride had a great turnout and was a successful fundraiser for our club. Special thanks to those who helped pull it off and to all of our supporters. The Trailside Cookout was a fun time to get to visit with club members and riders from all over who Chester Snowmobile Club This season was very similar to last season where snow came later than hoped, but once it snowed the riding was great for many weeks. Unfortunately, by mid-March several clubs had to close their trails as the weather warmed and the snow became mud. Luckily for us and those who participated, we had great snow for both our kid’s ride and our annual poker run. Over 75 youngsters took over 200 rides on mini snowmobiles and enjoyed cookies and hot chocolate during Chester’s winter carnival where we held our kid’s ride event. Ninety riders took part in our poker run, so both of these events were successful family fun days with folks experiencing outdoor winter fun. Wardsboro Pathfinders This winter has been amazing! The (very) cold weather and snow in January set us up with a solid base and snow all season, along with our hard- working groomers, has kept the 710 trail super smooth. Everyone who’s been taking the trail down to the Wardsboro store has enjoyed the ride. Thank you to all who helped out at the Rescue Ride In on Feb. 21. We had perfect weather, fresh snow, and our grooming crew made a smooth path right to the Stratton Recreation Area. Delicious homemade food was prepared by club members and fire department supporters, and lots of yummy burgers were donated by club member Dominick Cingari. Plenty of people won raffle prizes donated by Fat City Motor Worx, Ronnie’s of Bennington, The Last Chair, The Saloon, American Flatbread, Janine’s Home and Style Boutique of Dover and Ratu’s of Wilmington. The winner of our grand prize, a 55-inch smart TV, also donated by Dominick, was Bette Parsons. Bette is a longtime supporter of the club, and we’re happy she won. We had a terrific turnout and everyone enjoyed the day. We are so happy to continue this long-standing club event. Looking forward to next year! The recent warm-up has not helped trails anywhere, but we’re hoping for more cold and snow before the end of the season. Think snow everyone! Jennifer Mulligan, Secretary wardsboropathfinders.com Like us on Facebook stopped by for lunch. Riders of all ages enjoyed the day. Again, thank you to those who helped make it happen! Most importantly, we are incredibly grateful to all of the landowners who make this possible. Thank you for another season of riding and enjoying Barnard. Until next year!
