Club News
is available on the club’s Facebook
page. On February 15th, we joined The
Knights of Columbus and the Sacred
Heart of Jesus Church in Troy for the
Blessing of the Sleds, and on February
21st, we held our annual Poker Run,
which ended at the Kingdom Brewery.
There was a great turnout at all events
this season, and everyone had a good
time. Our gun raffle continues to be a
successful fundraiser. Congratulations
to our last two raffle winners for this
season: Josh Brigham and Rene Daigle.
To everyone else, better luck next year!
On the last day of February, we had a
special treat: a 1948 Bombardier B-12CS
Snow Bus was roaming the Country
Riders Trails. What an awesome site
on our trails. Our annual meeting and
elections will be held in April, and our
Landowners Appreciation Brunch is
scheduled for Sunday, May 3rd, 2026.
We will also be planning our summer
projects soon, including culvert work,
sign upgrades at some of our busiest
intersections, debrushing, and more.
Watch Facebook for details on all of
our upcoming club events.
Till next season, think snow!!

The turnout was excellent for the Country

Heart of Jesus Church in Troy.
Glover Trailwinders
Spring has arrived, with snow melts
and on and off light snow. Our trails
are closed. We had a great season while
it lasted. Our trails held up better this
year than the last several years. At
this time of the year we clean up our
groomer and put it away until next
fall. Stakes will be pulled as soon as the
ground thaws and hopefully before the
farmers need to get on their fields.
We are getting ready for our yearly
raffle dance to be held at the Irasburg
town hall on Saturday May 2, 2026.
We are grateful for the continued club
support. This is our only big fund
raiser.
We had the poker run which was held
on February 14th this year, with a good
attendance. Thank you to the following
stops for our ride. The Craftsbury
Village Store, The Genny, Bob’s Quick
Stop, Orleans Village Pizza, Currier’s
Market, The Nook, The Parker Pie, and
The Willoughby Gap for also hosting
the event. We would like to thank all
of our members and especially land
owners who give us the privilege of
riding on their land. Also would like
to thank our active member volunteers
that spend hours doing what needs to
be done in keeping our club running.
Happy Spring, Summer, and Fall!
Looking forward to another good
riding season 2026/2027!

Shrewsbury Sno-Birds
Well after the last issue the Sno-Birds
started receiving good snow and cold
temps so we reopened our trails and
got to work on grooming to make
our trails nice. We had a issue with
the Tucker for a couple of days and
we want to thank our neighboring
clubs for grooming the trails one time.
We were in really good shape for the
month of February and early March
then mother nature changed our plans
with a longer than normal warm up.
We had to close our trails on March
16. We also have closed most gates
as we were seeing wheeled vehicle
traffic on the trails. The grooming
team has added one more operator to
the team, Paul Racine. He has years
