This year, the Northeast Kingdom
Snow Blasters celebrated their 10th
Anniversary Calcutta at the Timeout
Tavern in Canaan on Saturday, Jan.
17. It was a great evening bringing
together members and supporters
to celebrate another successful
snowmobiling season in the Northeast
Kingdom.
On Feb. 21, we hosted our annual
Blaster Bash BBQ, where a couple of
hundred snowmobilers gathered to
enjoy good food and great company.
The event was catered by Sled
Farm II, and the food was delicious.
Trail conditions were spectacular,
making it easy for riders to attend
by sled, although the event was
also accessible by car. We had a fire
outside so guests could stay warm
while enjoying the sunshine.
Several prizes were awarded during
the event, and we extend our sincere
thanks to the many local businesses
that generously donated items.
We also recently announced the
winners of this year’s Snowman
Contest, which featured some

fantastic creations by Robin Ferri,
Julie Moran and Billy Cote.
A special thank you goes out to the
volunteers and Board of Directors
who help organize these successful
events and keep our club thriving.
We would also like to thank our club
members for their continued support

throughout the season.
Most importantly, we extend
our sincere appreciation to our
landowners who allow the trails to
pass through their property. Their
generosity makes the trail system
possible, and we are truly grateful for
their continued support.
