It was a short but great season!!
2025/26 brought lots of snow. We
got off to a slow start with some
mechanical issues and icing tree
issues, but in the long run- we had
an awesome season. Snowmobilers
wait all year to get out and play, so
it is always sad when the end of the
year comes to a close. One of our
fondest memories is the Landowner
Appreciation Cookout held annually
because it blends our love of the sport,
the generosity of our landowners and
the historic snowmobiles from long
ago. The Ridge Runners can’t thank
the participants and visitors enough
for the smiles brought to faces all
day long. We look forward - not to
just another season but to another
celebration gathering in February
2027 as we honor our wonderful
grow the roots of what is becoming a
stronger organization.
After completing numerous major trail
projects during the off-season, we were
able to groom earlier and later into the
season than we have in previous years.
Also, we groomed beyond our mileage
cap by the end of February.
We were able to reopen previously
closed trails, rekindled landowner
relations, and hope to make more
improvements for next season.
We can not give enough thanks to our
groomer operators for the amazing
job they did this year. Additionally,
we would like to thank all the club
volunteers who helped with the major
projects and unexpected maintenance
that popped up throughout the season.
Thanks to everyone’s hard work,
the Sno-Crusiers are in a stronger
position going into this off season,
allowing us to continue to make
trail improvements and upgrade
equipment which will make riding
our trails an even more enjoyable
experience in the seasons to come.
As always, we would like to thank our
land owners and the local businesses
for their support; without them there
would be no Lyndon Sno-Crusiers. The
positive feedback we have received
this season has been much appreciated;
new members and volunteers are
always welcome.

Newark E-Z Riders
Well, the 2025/26 season turned out
to be a great one here in Newark.
Unfortunately, it has come to an early
end (March 15) even though we still
have three feet of snow here in the hills
as the surrounding clubs have closed
their trails and the roads are now dirt.
This season saw Newark add a few
more TMAs to last season’s total, and
a big thank you to all who purchased
them. See you next fall for early bird
purchases. In addition, Caledonia
county, which has been dropping
TMAs for years, finally added to last
year’s total which is great news.
This season saw our club change a
majority of their club officers and it
went as smooth as expected. Thank
you everyone for all your hard work.
Now all that is left is picking up signs,
but with all the snow up here it might
be the end of April or early May. Either
way the job always gets done.
Until next season have a safe and
enjoyable summer, and we will see you
in the fall.

Iroquois Snow Beavers
This has been a wonderful season for
snowmobiling in Vermont! The Snow
Beavers have been enjoying riding
after all of the volunteer hours put
in during the off season. During the
season, our groomer Scott Johansen
has kept the trails through Hinesburg
and Huntington in pristine condition.
Thanks to Scott and members that
rode shotgun with him for all of
those valley and mountain pulls! A
broken hydraulic cylinder connection
to the drag barely slowed down the
operation thanks to Peter Neu owner
of Green Mountain Customs. Peter
volunteered his time and materials
to fabri-cate and weld the drag and
had Scott up and running in no time.
We are also thankful to continue
our partnership with Sydney and
Jack owners of Moondog Tavern in
Hinesburg. They hosted our kickoff
party and we have worked together to
make charitable donations to various
