We are dedicated to advancing the revenue building success of the magazine by maintaining high ethical standards in sales and billing practices, along with providing prompt and personalized attention to the needs of each client. Businesses looking to advertise are encouraged to contact advertising@vtvast.org. A new publication, Snow Travelers’ Guide, will debut this fall at several large northeastern snowmobile shows, welcome centers, select businesses and online. This annually published guide will contain introductory information on snowmobiling in Vermont, county descriptions, club contacts and a comprehensive trail-accessible and/or snowmobile related business directory. The Online TMA Committee has met and a decision has been approved by the VAST Board of Directors to offer an Online TMA for the next winter season. TMAs will be sold from the VAST website beginning in October 2016. The TMAs that will be available for sale on the site will be Early Bird, Regular Season and three-Day TMAs only. Sale of Family TMAs will need to go through clubs, just like they do now, although you can buy your first two full priced Early Bird or Regular SeasonTMAs online, and just show a copy of the TMAs to the vendor selling Family TMAs to get the discount for your additional sleds. When an online full season TMA is purchased the buyer will get a temporary TMA via email that is good for ten days and then the real TMA sticker will be in the mail within ten days. When a Three-Day TMA is bought, there will be no sticker, but the buyer will get an email with the TMA to carry on their sled, with specific dates the TMA is good for. At each purchase the buyer will be assessed a fee and it will be distributed electronically as follows: Early Bird or Regular Season full season TMA: Fee is $35 of which $5 goes toVAST and $30 to the club they join or are a current member of. Three-Day TMA: Fee is $20 and all $20 goes to the club they join. More about this will be discussed at the VAST Annual Meeting.
