Woodford Snobusters - History

The Woodford Snobusters started in 1984 on the front porch of the McKenna homestead. They knew they had a great spot in southwest Vermont to share good times with family and friends.

In the early days, the club used snowmobiles and pipe drags to groom their trails, but as the trail system grew, so did the need for some bigger equipment. The group of friends pooled their money to but a small "Bombi" track machine, which they used for a couple of seasons before realizing they needed to go bigger. What started off as one Bombi track machine has lead to a fleet of 4 Pisten Bullys today that the Snobusters volunteers operate to provide one of the best trail systems in the state!
