Board Meetings are currently being held via phone/zoom conference during the COVID-19 crisis. The public is welcome to watch & comment via YouTube Live.
Meetings are set for the fourth Monday of the month. Exceptions include Aug or Sept each year depending on the annual meeting date which would replace that month’s BOD meeting. Also, depending on the Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday dates, the BOD meeting may move to a different Monday of the month. Check with your county director to get those specific dates or contact VAST.
VAST is governed by fourteen directors and four officers. Directors are elected by clubs (at the county level) each year in each of Vermont's fourteen counties. The four officers are also elected by the members each year at the VAST Annual Meeting.
The VAST office is overseen by an executive director with an additional five full-time employees (see staff page) and one seasonal employee.
