VAST 50th Anniversary

Seeking old VAST and VT snowmobiling photos and stories!

In preparation of VAST’s 50th anniversary, we thought we’d let you know what’s in store next year in Snowmobile Vermont magazine. Starting in the Summer 2017 issue, we will highlight each decade of news and events that contributed to the forming and ongoing development of our great organization.

Summer 2017 – The Beginning: 1967

Fall 2017 – The 70s

Early Winter 2017 – The 80s

Winter 2018 – The 90s

Late Winter 2018 –The 2000s

Summer 2018 – The 2010s and beyond

SUBMISSION Guidelines

1. Try your best to send the largest file possible (1- 2 MB is ideal) but we realize this is difficult with vintage physical photos. Scan at the highest resolution possible or take a photo of the photo with your smartphone or camera. You can also bring the photos into the VAST office where we can scan them. Or mail to 26 Vast Lane, Berlin, VT 05641. We will scan and mail them back to you. 

3. If possible, provide the first and last names of people in the photo, their snowmobile club name(s), and location of photo (town, trial #, etc.) 

4. Once you submit your photo, you are giving VAST copyright permission to use this photo in the magazine and for future marketing purposes.
