This year is the 50th anniversary of our organization and our hosts will be the Lamoille county snowmobile clubs. Vintage sleds and club groomers will be on display. Snowmobile dealers, a craft fair and silent auction are also scheduled activities. Contact your club to see if you can attend as a delegate and have your voice heard. More information and options for registration will soon be available in the next issue of Snowmobile Vermont, our website, Facebook and email VAST Blasts. “A huge thank you to VAST and Klim for this awesome new gear! Can’t wait to get out on the trails and test it out!”–Marlene and Doug Marlene and Doug Tobin are the winners of the Klim Gear Giveaway! The happy couple now have brand new Klimate and Allure parkas with matching bibs for next season. We had 233 entries, plus many more who earned second entries by commenting on our Facebook post and sharing photos of their “snowmobiling sweethearts.” We hope to continue this giveaway each year, so keep a lookout in this magazine and on our Facebook page next fall on how to enter! GEAR GIVEAWAY SPRING CONSTRUCTION SEMINAR IS APRIL 22 VAST will be hosting the 19th Annual Spring Construction Seminar on April 22 at the Barre Auditorium in Barre from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. This is a mandatory seminar for clubs wishing to partake in any of the Grant-in-Aid Programs this season. At least one member from each club must attend. There will be no makeup for this event. The event will be followed by a pulled pork barbecue that is free for all participants.
