Lee estimates that over 100 riders had come and gone by the end of the four-hour event. The Cavendish Green Mountain Snow Fleas organized a destination ride for their members and 14 of them arrived as a group. Some of the clubs represented during the course of the event were: Chester Snowmobile Club, Cavendish GM Snow Fleas, Grafton Outing Club, Ludlow Side Hill Cronchers, Andover Mountaineers and the Derry Sled Dogs. Scott and Brian of Benny’s Power had a CanAm Commander with tracks and enclosed cab on premise for folks to test drive, which many took full advantage of. Music and a light show were managed by DJ Paul and Samantha Stoddards, who did an outstanding job. Folks were singing and some were even dancing. There were hot dogs to roast over the open fire, a choice of six different soups/chowders, macaroni and cheese, sandwiches and a large variety of desserts to choose from. Chester Snowmobile Club President Stan Choiniere had red carnations for all the women who attended. If all that wasn’t enough, there was a full fireworks display mid-event. If you missed it this year, be sure to look for event details next year. ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ Late Winter 2017 | 25
