Our club has been busy riding out on all the beautiful trails and attending several functions. A few members enjoyed the ride up to St. Johnsbury to the Comfort Inn, stopping in for lunch at the Buckaroos of 302’s Dick Page Ride-In and chicken barbecue, as well as the Bayley Hazen Bean Dinner. I have heard nothing but good reports back on both of these functions. The food and company were delightful. Speaking of chicken barbecues, we so proudly celebrated our 46th Annual Chicken BBQ at the Westshire Elementary School. I cannot tell you how proud I am of all our participants’ enthusiasm, dedication and outright positive energy! Our raffle tables were chock full of donations from local businesses. This year we were able to enjoy the sound of friends near and far riding in on their snowmobiles. Smiling faces from ear to ear were in attendance. I know that our president, Stuart Bacon, wanted me to mention how much he is grateful for our volunteers and our landowners. Everything each one of you does for this club will never go unnoticed. We had an amazing season, a successful run and we cannot wait to see what next season brings our way. As the hills turn brown and the back Austin Bacon and David Ulman tend to the birds at the 46th Annual Upper Valley Snow Packers’Chicken BBQ.
