When we have snow, conditions are terrific! Unfortunately, we have had as many weeks with warm weather and rain, as with snow. Our groomer operators, as well as those of other snowmobile clubs, did a phenomenal job of making the trails the best they could possibly be. We can’t say “thank you” enough! Thanks to Jeanne and Gene McKenna for organizing and hosting the Woodford SnoBuster’s 32nd Annual Very Special People Ride on Feb. 11. This is such a fun event where we treat persons with special needs to a day of snowmobile rides and lunch. The weather was perfect and the nearly 130 people, which included 62 participants, their caregivers, volunteers, and law enforcement officers, all seemed to enjoy a great time! You may see the incredible video of this event created by April LaCroix on our Facebook page, Woodford SnoBusters of Vermont. The WSB Hot Dog Roast was a huge success this season. We served nearly 300 meals, with proceeds going to local charities. Excellent trail conditions and balmy weather made for a very enjoyable afternoon. Thank you to Gene McKenna for chairing this event. You did such a great job, you are stuck with it now!
