The Cold Hollow Bearcats came about as a merger of two local clubs: the Cold Hollow Barons and the Missisquoi Bearcats. Both the Bearcats and Barons had been active from at least the 1970's, but membership and volunteers were not enough to sustain both clubs. The merger allowed the renamed club to have access to two groomers (Pisten Bully and Bombardier) and share volunteer tasks, both resulting in better trail management and upkeep. We have a core group that cares about the trails, enjoying riding, and promoting snowmobiling in general.
