Caledonia County riders, mark your calendars for Saturday, February 21st. We’ve teamed up with our friends at the Burke Drift Skippers to create a back-to-back snowmobile extravaganza that celebrates the two things we love most: great trails and the generous landowners who make them possible.

Phase 1: The Burke Drift Skippers Pancake Breakfast
The day kicks off in West Burke with a brand-new tradition. From 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM, the Burke Drift Skippers are hosting their 1st Annual Pancake Breakfast at a club member’s home right in the heart of their trail system.

Location: 997 Sugarhouse Rd, West Burke (accessible by trail via CA98 or at the Southern end of Trail 114).
Fuel Up: A $10 donation gets you a full plate, though it’s FREE for landowners.
The Challenge: Kick off their Crossword Scavenger Hunt for an additional $10 donation; completed puzzles are eligible for prizes!
The Stakes: Don’t miss the 50/50 Raffle with the big drawing at 11:00 AM.

Phase 2: The Group Ride South
Once the breakfast plates are cleared and the 50/50 winner is crowned, it’s time to gear up. Ryan Lowell, WRR Trailmaster, will be leading a group ride directly from the breakfast in Burke down to our clubhouse in Waterford. This is a perfect opportunity to enjoy the mid-winter grooming and ride with a crew of fellow enthusiasts across club lines.

Phase 3: WRR Landowner Appreciation BBQ
The journey ends at the Waterford Ridge Runners Clubhouse (3309 Duck Pond Rd, Waterford) for our 3rd Annual Landowner Appreciation BBQ.

This event is our way of rolling out the red carpet for the folks who allow us to enjoy their land all season long. We’ll have the grills fired up, plenty of hot food, and a massive raffle featuring prizes from the local businesses that keep our community thriving. It’s the perfect way to spend a Saturday—supporting two clubs, thanking our landowners, and getting some miles in between.
