Hosted by the Orleans County Snowmobile Association.
All snowmobile operators born after July 1, 1983, who are 12 years of age and older, are required by law to take and pass an approved snowmobile safety course before operating on the SSTS.
This one day class is developed to meet the standards for Snowmobile safety education established by Vermont. As a course approved by Vermont State Police, it covers everything a new snowmobile operator may need to know in order to be safe in Vermont while snowmobiling.
Any student must be 12 by April 16, 2017 in order to be "certified". Anyone ages 8 and 11 may take the course but won't be certified.
