Cavendish Green Mountain Snow Fleas

The Cavendish Green Mountain Snow Fleas Snowmobile Club is located in southeast Vermont in the township of Cavendish. Snowmobile riders experience a variety of scenic views including the Green Mountains, the Black River, the Arthur Davis Wildlife Sanctuary, and meadows and forests on our 34 miles of corridor trails. Our 12-mile secondary trail goes through a portion of the Proctor Piper State Forest. We take pride in our trails and received the VAST 2015 Best Groomed Trails Award.

During the season, the Club operates the Cavendish Cook Shack on Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the intersection of 126C and Corridor 12 N/S at WR 43, adjacent to Twenty Mile Stream Road, when conditions are good, and volunteers are available.

Our patrons have voted us "home of the best cheeseburgers on the trails". Our menu also includes hot dogs, hamburgers, coffee, hot chocolate, water, and soda, as well as weekly specials - homemade items donated by Club members. In addition to food and drinks, we sell Club clothing and VAST and Windsor County maps. We have an area with picnic tables and a County sponsored Port-a-Pottie.

We host several events each year (conditions permitting) and welcome everyone to join us.

We are a family-oriented Club dedicated to bringing the enjoyment of snowmobiling to all ages and were the Featured Club in the Late Winter 2016 issue of VAST's Snowmobile Vermont magazine.

Members are kept up to date on Club activities and information related to snowmobiling issues and legislation via our club newsletter, the Flea Caller, and our Facebook page.

The heart of our Club is our volunteers who work on our trails year-round to ensure the best riding experience possible, and the local landowners who allow us the privilege of riding on their land.

We look forward to meeting you on the trails in Snow Fleas country!
