LYNDON SNO-CRUISERS ANNUAL POKER RUN

The Lyndon Sno-Cruisers snowmobile club of Lyndonville hold an annual Poker Run fundraiser.  The date for the event is set in February with the anticipation of good to excellent snowmobiling conditions.

The time scheduled for the Poker Run if from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.  All hands must be turned in by then to an agent.  At 5:00 pm a member of the Lyndon Sno-Cruisers will pick up the cash bag from the agent and brings it to EveryBuddy's Casual Dining where Cathy Hanks volunteers to score the cards from the best poker hand to the lower rank poker hands.  Only 5 best draws on a 3 x 5 card are scored.  Participants who wish can gather at EveryBuddy,s Casual Dining for a social time waiting for the results to be announced at about 7:30 pm.  The first prize award is $400 cash and about $1000 of prizes donated by area businesses including the snowmobile dealerships are awarded to the next top 10 winners. The prizes include snowmobile items and gift certificates.
