Our summer was uneventful except we all got together for our annual summer picnic. This year we had it at Rachael and David’s house. We had some delicious food that everyone brought plus David’s famous barbecue chicken. We are getting our landowner permissions ready for the new season. We are also getting repairs done to the southern end groomer that broke down last winter. We will be back to two groomers when the snow flies. We have made some alterations to parts of our trail system which we feel will be easier to travel on plus eliminate some of our troubled GRAND ISLE COUNTY Corinth Sno-Scramblers Have you noticed the leaves are already starting to change? In Corinth Sno-Scramblers territory, some trees are starting to turn all those fall colors. That only means one thing: We are now one season away from our favorite season of all! We have been busy getting geared up Cold Hollow Bearcats Snow season is fast approaching. Let’s hope this season will be great with cold weather and lots of snow, with no warm spells or rain. The CHB have been busy. So far we made two trail reroutes and tore down one bridge to redeck. We have two more bridges to redeck. Our BR 180 is being fitted with new tracks and is having some other work done that is overdue. Serge Marcoux, Treasurer FRANKLINCOUNTY spots from last year. We look forward to a snowy winter. Can you imagine what a season we would have if all the rain we have had this past summer was snow? If we all get out and do our “snow dance” we might have a good upcoming season.
