Summer 2018 | 29 Club News to offer us up here. We remain very busy with construction grant requests and planning. Most of our work is to be done on the Jackson Road, (Corridor 114) in Averill. We need to replace a rotted bridge, install six new culverts and also do some water damming on the new Brousseau Mountain trail. That trail experienced very heavy traffic all season and we are taking the advice of Landvest, the land management for that trail, and doing some erosion prevention work. We are also very busy working with Weyerhauser and the Sylvio O. Conte people discussing possible logging operations this coming season. More on that later. The club has also generated a new newsletter, called the “Clipper” as we have many followers who don’t frequent Facebook but would like to read up on club news.
