Monthly meetings are held in the annex of the Worcester United Methodist Church, 35 Worcester Village Road at 6:30 p.m. on the first Wednesday following the first Sunday of every month. Come and join the fun. Bob Stewart, Communications www.vtvast.org/worcester-rangers WINDHAM COUNTY Deerfield Valley Stump Jumpers Our annual club meeting was held in April and the following officers were elected: Don Yanke, president; Carl Shepherd, vice president; Lorraine Tulley, secretary; and Jim Bogard, treasurer. Reelected directors are Brian Harty and Tom Baltrus. Jim Smith resigned and Phil Manzi was elected for a one year term. Our landowner dinner was held at the Matterhorn Inn on June 4. It was a bittersweet event, as the Matterhorn has been sold and we thank Joe and Wanda for their years of generosity to our club and the community and wish them much joy in their retirement. Our last meeting to be held there will be Sept. 10. The Woodford Snobusters donated a 40-foot bridge to our club and we are most grateful. Plans for trail work will be listed on our web site and Facebook page. Start your snow dancing now so we can have a good season next year! Of course, low to no snow cover had a lot to do with that. Considering that we never really officially opened our trails, we did have a great year with needed projects being completed. We received an unexpected six inches of snow on April 4 that allowed us to get some needed trail work done. Our Snow Fest event was a huge success for our club even without snow and we look forward to Snow Fest 2017. We are happy to report that our local food bank also was awarded a nice cash donation from the event as well. One of the most important events we do each year is our landowner dinner and we are so very thankful for the opportunity to give back to each and
