Remaining director Pidgeon Roy was joined by Don Nelson, Steve Blanchard, Mike Koehler and Brad Shepherd. Congratulations to all and we are looking forward to working with you this coming year. We would also like to thank our outgoing officers for their help and support: Stewart Ahearn, Chester Wright, Julie Lavalee and Paul Christensen. They all are still very active as volunteers but taking a break from the business end of things. Our meeting dates have changed. They are now held at the Chez Pidgeon on the second Saturday of each month at 2 p.m. and thus far have been well attended. Our Facebook page remains very active with more than 1,000 likes and you can find most news and activities there. We are already past the halfway point to the 2016/17 season and hoping mother nature treats us well this coming year. Have a great summer and thanks for your support! David Diminico, Trailmaster northeastkingdomsnowblasters.com Like us on Facebook FRANKLIN COUNTY Franklin County Snow Raiders Greetings from the Franklin County Snow Raiders! The summer season has arrived. With the hot weather, not many of us are thinking too much of snowmobiling. Last winter was a bust as far as snowmobiling is concerned. Here in the northwest corner of the state, riding was practically non-existent and our groomer and new drag never saw the trails. I guess on the positive side, the club saved a lot of money in fuel and other expenses associated with the operation of the groomer. Not a lot has happened with the club and functions as of this date. With the change of officers voted on last spring, ORANGE COUNTY I’m not sure what the plan is for the upcoming season. As far as I know, the trail system is complete, unless there are surprises not known at this moment when the trails committee seeks new landowner permissions come fall. Nothing new is on the horizon. I hope everyone has a great summer. As my Dad always said, “After the fourth, its time to button up for winter.” Hopefully, the cold weather is a ways off yet, but that the snowmobiling season will be better this coming winter. Ken Stockwell, Treasurer Like us of Facebook Justin Morrill Drift Skippers It has been a quiet spring so far. The groomer is all put away, which was an easy task this year since not many miles, if any, were groomed. The club has recently taken over more trails due to the Thetford Snow Coasters disbanding. Their members will join us and another local club in the area. With this merging of the club there are some trail updates that are in the works. This is a good chance to try to get everybody to volunteer and help. Justin Morrill Drift Skippers President Mike Mann unloads the club’s new roller that was given to them by the White River Valley Ramblers Club. (Andrew Godfrey photo) A lot of clubs are struggling to find help on every level of work within the clubs. Every little bit of help you can do will make a big difference. We have many trail work projects getting ready to go. We also have acquired a used roller which we plan on rebuilding and using. We would like to thank the White River Valley Ramblers for giving us this roller. We hope everybody’s summer is well and that Old Man Winter is getting ready to give us a lot of snow this season. So with that in mind, we hope everybody has a productive summer and fall. Check for trail work days on our Facebook page. Mike Mann, President Like us on Facebook Topsham Ridge Runners Well we didn’t have what you would call a real winter, no spring to speak of and now what has happened to summer? It seems a tad late, and being a snow bunnie I can’t honestly say that I am not enjoying this nice cool weather. Here’s hoping for a sparkling fall and a powerfully snowy winter. Arriving oh, about Dec. 15 and lasting till about April 15. Who is with me on this?! Our club is always trying to find new ideas to improve our club and and
