It’s nice that through the Chester Poker Run, our family can do something we all love while helping out our neighboring community club. My favorite place to ride, from when I was younger and in the caboose, is through the old Christmas tree farm in Windham. When riding through, I would look behind and feel like I was in a magical place like Narnia. Now that I am older, I still enjoy the rides around the Andover area, but I also enjoy riding in the Northeast Kingdom just as much. In the Northeast Kingdom, the Griswolds are able to ride directly from our family camp on Newark Pond. There are many nice places with amazing views to ride to with all the mountains around, but my favorite is the lookout on Trail 2000 because the view is breathtaking. Our family tries to go to the view every year. We make it an all-day ride toward April’s Maples in Canaan for lunch. Riding to April’s Maples is always a fun journey, but arriving and enjoying the process of making maple syrup and trying new maple flavored foods is fun and exciting! Ever since the Griswold family began snowmobiling, the love has been carried on through the generations, and will continue to be shared with many generations to come! with amazing views to ride to with all the mountains around, but my favorite is the lookout on Trail 2000 because the view generations to come!
