Winter 2019 | 39 Club News 802-685-3885 www.mkrichardsonagency.com COVERAGESO YOU CAN RIDE ON but December did not pull through. We had our annual dinner raffle on Dec. 7 and had a good crowd of people. This year’s winners were Greg and Lisa Donahue, who graciously donated $500 of their winnings back to the club. I would like to thank Corey Laferriere for organizing and chairing this function, which is a huge fundraiser for the club and requires a lot of work. The bridge on the mountain was finished just in time for the opening of trails. A big thank you goes out to Dave Watson, Adam Martin, Charlie Martin, Mike Farnham and Matt Marsh for taking this on. The groomer has been out and is working great. We did the service in-house this year, and thanks for that goes out to Tim and Bennett Stone along with Dave Watson and Matt Marsh. Our sponsor board is pretty much all paid up and looking good. Again, it was a lot of work to accomplish, and Toad Spaulding does a terrific job start to finish. Thanks, Toad! This is just a sample of some of the work that goes on in the club. More volunteers are always needed and appreciated. Our meetings are the second Wednesday of the month from September to May at 7 p.m. at the Beehive on Sunset Road in Barre. Remember to always ride to the right and ride safe as well as be respectful of our landowners.
