Over 110 youngsters took the opportunity to ride mini-snowmobiles on a special track created for them to try out snowmobiling. For most, it was their first time on a sled. Special thanks to the owners of Buttonwood Farms who allowed us to build a track and use their field for this event.Club volunteers Lee Whiting, Wayne and Angie Cooley, Jo-Jo and Jim Chlebogiannis, and Mike Westine organized and assisted the riders. The club wants to also thank Rudy Chieka and Scott Gladstone who loaned us their 120s and Kitty Cat snowmobiles. The kids had so much fun and their smiles as well as those on the parents and grandparents was priceless.Riders were treated to free hot chocolate. donated 300 treats including fancyworked the food tent.In addition to hot chocolate, the clubcookies and brownies, while RuthanneChester Snowmobile Club loves to host ran the food concession for the winterBatchelder made gluten free mini- this free kids ride event every year as carnival cooking burgers and hot dogs.muffins and brownies for us to sell. part of Chesters winter carnival.
