b'VAST NewsHIGH SCHOOL ORGANIZES GROUP RIDE FOR WINTER CARNIVALBy Noel PixleyNorth Country Union High School held its annual Winter Carnival celebration as a way to kick off the winter vacation in late February. Students eagerly signed up for the multiple activities for the day in this popular tradition at NCUHS. An organized snowmobile ride off campus was a new addition to the roster of choices this year. Organized by Assistant Principal Noel Pixley, the slots quickly filled up with students who were eager to ride, and we were fortunate to have many quality volunteers who stepped up to make this an exceptional day.Sergeant Selby from the Vermont State Police and vice president of thedefinitely do this again if given theall of the food for lunch.
