b'Club EventsLyndon Sno-Cruisers Poker RunBy Larry DwyerThe Lyndon Sno-Cruisers held their annual Poker Run on Feb. 1 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with nine businesses participating. The participants could go to five out of eight stops to draw their poker hands. The ninth stop, The Wildflower Inn on Corridor 52, was the extra card stop only. All hands had to be turned in at EveryBuddys Casual Dining no later than 5 p.m. We want to thank Mikes Gas & Redemption, East Burke Market, Parker Pie, The Gap, NEK Country Store, Nicks Gas N Go, Burke Publick House, and EveryBuddys Casual Dining for participating as the eight stops. These businesses were grateful for having cards in sealed envelopes for players to draw. There was a team of club volunteers who handle the task of opening all the sealed cards and posting the results.EveryBuddys Casual Dining provided snacks and refreshments for the many snowmobilers that day. Other club volunteers helped at certain stops and collected the card boxes at the end of the day. These same stops had also donated prizes to be awarded to the 10(Larry Dwyer photos)winners.
