If you have, we know you will be back and if you have not, you should add us to your list of must-ride destinations in Vermont. Lamoille county is located in the heart of Vermont. We are home to Vermont’s highest mountain, Mount Mansfield, and the home of the Von Trapp family from the Sound of Music. Our county has amazing snowmobile trails that traverse mountains and gorges with steep technical riding and a beautiful river valley to ride through. The Lamoille River runs east to west and along its banks is the historic railway that has now been developed into a four-season recreation trail called the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail (LVRT) that is also designated as Corridor 15A within County Director Ellis O’Hear the VAST trail network. The LVRT is a great way to connect to some of our more remote riding that loops into the mountains or brings you right into our little towns to eat, stay and gas up. When you come to Lamoille county, you will find a rich history and fantastic touristy things to do in Stowe and Smuggler’s Notch. Lamoille county has fantastic riding for all ages and abilities and remember, “You can get there from here!” Gihon Trak Packers PO Box 22, Eden, VT 05652 802-635-7515 https://www.facebook.com/ Gihon-Trak-Packers-Snowmo- bile-Club-172504559457741/ Lamoille County Snow Packers Morrisville, VT 05661 802-793-0065 Sterling Snow Riders PO Box 284, Johnson, VT 05656 802-324-1195 Stowe Snowmobile Club 80 Maple Run Ln., Stowe, VT 05672 802-253-9850 Lamoille Clubs - Lamoille County (Nancy Piette photo)
