Our 280 miles of corridor trails are broken up into two regions. We also have local trails maintained by clubs as secondary trails. The first region is in our county’s wester side which runs up the center of Vermont along the spine of the Green Mountains and connects with trails in Massachusetts. The other major pocket of riding is in our county’s northwestern portion which connects to New Hampshire. When riding in Windham County you will find plenty of great paces to stay and ride from, as well as stop for a bite to eat and to get gas. Riding in Windham County varies, from accessing some high elevations to the low river valley of the Connecticut River. We offer great historic villages and some very large tracks of land to experience along the VELCO powerline.
