A strong snowmobile season benefits the economic development of small Vermont towns and attracts tourists to further enhance that growth, in addition to contributing to Vermonts overall economy. Its been a privilege and an inspiring learning experience to serve this club for the past 15 years as secretary alongside my husband Stan as president. We are a small club, comparatively, and we have been so proud to be a part of its growth and to find incredible friendships along the way. There are many club members from the early years who are no longer with us: may they and their contribution never be forgotten. To those who are still grooming at all hours of the day and night, repairing equipment, debrushing and signing trails, writing grants, selling TMAs, making food for a fundraiser, balancing the club checkbook or negotiating with an unhappy landowner, we say thank you. You all are an inspiration, and we wish you continued success in the years ahead. Safe and happy riding to all, and see you out there on those magnificent Barnard trails.Early Winter 2019 | 17'
