Each year, local snowmobile clubs obtain landowner permission to maintain these trails on private property. Respecting the land by showing courtesy (staying on trail, avoiding excess noise, not speeding, and not littering) will ensure that New Englands best trail system remains open for years to come. Please respect the rights of the landowners and remember to say thank you. Permission to use snowmobile trails does not extend to use of these trails by ATVs, four-wheelers, motor or mountain bikes, hiking or other uses, unless specifically authorized by the landowner. A VAST trail is a trail only during the snow season; any other use will be considered trespassing.2021/22 Snow Travelers Guide to Vermont| 5'
