VAST 49th Annual Meeting  - Saturday, August 20, 2016

Killington Grand Hotel at Killington Mountain Resort in Killington, VT

 

6:00 AM  – County Members arrive on site to finalize set up and prepare for day

                – Vendors, Groomers who didn’t set up Friday (8/19) from 1:00 to 7:00PM, arrive and set up 

8:00 AM –Vendors, groomers, antique sled display area opens (For Info on displaying an antique sled, please contact Dave Fucci at dfucci@comcast.net or 802-236-0910) – Upper Snowshed Parking Lot

8:30 AM – Registration opens in the Killington Grand Hotel – Lower Level

              – Silent Auction opens Killington Grand Hotel – Lower Level – Ballroom

              – Vouchers available for discounts on Gondola rides to the peak, Mountain biking trails, and Adventure Center.  Most areas         open at 10:00

9:30-10:30 AM – VAST is sponsoring several informational sessions for members at Annual Meeting on Aug. 20. We hope attendees will arrive early and join us. They will take place concurrently at 9:30 a.m. in the lower level meeting rooms at the Killington Grand Hotel.

• Setting Up and Using the VAST Website For Your Club – Media Manager Beth Godin will walk you through how to log in, add    events, photos, contact information, update offi cers and link to social media.

• VAST Trail Policies ~ Question & Answer Session – This will be a group discussion where your previously submitted questions will be answered. Email your questions in advance to Trails Administrator Matt Tetreault to matt@vtvast.org.

• Growing Your Club Volunteer Numbers and Engaging Youth – Executive Director Cindy Locke will share ideas and strategies to capture the energy of our most valuable assests: youth and volunteers.

 

11:30 AM –Registration closes

11:45 AM –Lunch Buffet begins Killington Grand Hotel Small Ballroom – Lower Level

1:00 PM – Annual Meeting begins Killington Grand Hotel Large Ballroom

5:00 PM – Vendor Area Display closes

 

Other items --- 

• Plenty of parking available in the upper Snowshed parking lot.  Some handicapped spaces in front of the Hotel.  Shuttle available for those needing transport between hotel and vendors area.

• Lunch cost is $20.00 per person – reservations MUST be made by August 4th.

• Housing directly to the Killington Grand Hotel 800-282-9955 and refer to VAST for discounted rates.

• Optional housing at Gifford Woods State Park in Killington 802-775-5354 or through the VT State Parks website.
