Thirty three miles of VAST corridor trails are found in Alburgh, and managed by the Alburg Sno Springers Snowmobile Club. While the county is best known for boating and fishing in the warm weather, snowmobiling continues to be an important winter activity. Alburgh trails provide a mix of open farm fields and wooded roadways. The “summit” adjacent to the Alburgh Golf Links provides a sweeping view of Lake Champlain and the Green Mountains to the east. Fuel and snacks are available right on the trail at Crossroads Travel Center (between GI 7 and GI 3) and Jolley Quick Stop in the village just past the school. The Alburgh Beverage Mart in the village is a great place to stop for homemade soups, fresh sandwiches and daily special dinners. VAST snowmobile club members work all year long to build and maintain the amazing trails we all enjoy. Volunteer with your club today!
