Upon the successful completion of the safety course the snowmobiler will receive a Safety Certification card. This card must be carried when snowmobiling to be presented upon demand of a law enforcement officer.
Replacement cards can be requested online via the Vermont State Police website.
Anyone born after July 1, 1983, and who is 12 years of age and older, must complete and pass a six-hour safety course. read on View Safety Courses by region
