Respecting the land by showing courtesy and not littering will ensure that New England's best trail system remains open for years to come.

Save the money and/or the hassle of dealing with sending/faxing proof that you passed the course. An important note is that if ticketed you want to keep the ticket from getting in the system because once there it becomes much more time consuming to deal with without paying the fine. If you are from out of state and figure that you can get one free ride and then never come back if ticketed, be forewarned that some have lost their drivers licenses because of reciprocity with Vermont and other states. read on Safety Certification Card & Replacements
